Project Summary -

R.D. Jukes & Co. Ltd. were responsible as part of this project to upgrade the existing power supply between the HV/LV Radiotherapy switchroom and existing LV Pet Scanner switchroom. The works involved a shutdown of the entire Cancer centre all carried out during the weekend to minimise interuptions. Due to the nature of the works several temporary supplies had to be installed prior to the shutdown with liaision with the client throughout.

The project incorporated the following works -

• Stripping Out and Modifications of Existing Services
• Distribution.
• Small Power.
• All Associated Containment.
• All Electrical Works Tested and Results Recorded.

All installed items meet the following standards -

• BS 7671:2008 (amendment 1:2011).
• BS EN 61439
• BS 5424 (Parts 2 & 3)
• BS 7430

R.D. Jukes & Co. Ltd. worked closely with the Trust to deliver this project for University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust.
