Project Summary -

Further to our MCS (Microgeneration Certificate Scheme) accreditation RD Jukes completed the Install of New photovoltaic Micro Generation System (PV System) at 3no. Dairy Farm Properties. This project was completed for Warwickshire county Council. The properties were based in Atherstone and Banbury. Each site also required ground works to install 50mm ducting across the farms fields to the various buildings. The PV systems ranged from 20kW to 50kW, the 50kW system required 200 solar panels on the farm roof. This required a pulley system to transport the solar panels from the ground onto the roof. The projects were completed on time and within budget and the farmers/client were very pleased with the communication and management of the project from R.D. Jukes.

The project incorporated the following works -

The supply, erection, testing, commissioning and leaving in full working order a new photovoltaic micro generation system installed to the roof.

All installed items meet the following standards -

• BS 7671:2008 (amendment 1:2011)
• BS EN 61439
• BS 5424 (Parts 2 & 3)
• BS 7430

R.D. Jukes & Co. Ltd. worked closely with the services Design Consultant and Principal Contractor to deliver this project for Warwickshire County Council.
