Creation of 10 new build luxury apartments by converting and extending existing building at 64 Water Street, Birmingham.

Unfortunately, project commenced just before the Covid19 pandemic, was then subject to working restrictions and delays due to materials shortages. The Principle Contractor then entered into administration, but despite these major setbacks, we were subsequently employed directly by the developer to complete the project, who we worked collaboratively with, to successfully complete this project.

The scope of works for the electrical installation and associated services comprising the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and certification of the following disciplines:-

·        Cable containment and support systems infrastructure.

·        Installation of new Incoming DNO LV Supply and associated LV switchgear

·        Supply and Installation of new MCCB switch panel, Sub Mains Distribution, new MCB Distribution Boards, Earthing & Bonding.

·        Provision of Lightning and surge suppression systems.

·        Utility & Mechanical Power supplies.

·        Provision of EV [Electric Vehicle] charging points

·        New lighting, emergency and external lighting, some with scene setting and automatic control systems for occupancy detection and Emergency lighting systems.

·        Landlords Services.

·        Fire Detection, alarm, and life safety systems

·        Security and Access Control Systems

·        Closed Circuit CCTV Surveillance System.

·        Television / FM radio reception and Signal Distribution System

·        Testing, commission, labelling, certification and provision of operations and maintenance manuals
