Studley Point

R.D. Jukes & Co. Ltd. was appointed to undertake the design, supply and installation of electrical and associated building services as part of the refurbishment of Studley Point at 88 Birmingham Road.

The project required the delivery of a coordinated package encompassing electrical distribution, lighting, power and mechanical building services.

With electrical and mechanical elements forming part of the same refurbishment programme, successful delivery depended on effective coordination between multiple services and trades.

The installation needed to integrate new power distribution, lighting, heating & plumbing, ventilation and cooling requirements within the wider refurbishment, while maintaining progress against the Principal Contractor's programme and meeting the client's specification.

Our Solution

R.D. Jukes delivered a coordinated services package encompassing mains and sub-mains distribution, LV switchgear, under-floor distribution, small power, lighting and emergency lighting.

Our scope also extended to plumbing and heating, ventilation and cooling, mechanical services attendance, and earthing and bonding. By coordinating the different disciplines closely with the Principal Contractor and other trades, our team helped ensure the services were installed efficiently and aligned with the wider refurbishment programme.

The works were successfully completed to the client's specific requirements and project deadline.

Through close collaboration with the Principal Contractor, R.D. Jukes helped deliver a coordinated refurbishment in which the electrical and mechanical elements could be effectively integrated within the completed building.
